Merv, this post is for you! In a very lazy move I have rehashed this old slideshow which is kind of fitting as another world trip has been at the fore front of my mind for a while.

The trip I have in mind is a while away as yet but will be an EPIC photographic expedition if we can pull it off.  Mt Killi and Patagonia are calling….as is the rest of the world. There’s lots of ‘research’ going on behind the scenes to try and fund this project and as such the website is being rehashed to incorporate more ‘travel’ ideas as well as photography.

Gotta start putting the thoughts out there to make it happen but you never know what’s around the corner in this life.  I’m also learning the joys of timelapse so hope to post some results in the near future.

Can I use the excuse “I’ve been thinking” as a reason for not updating my blog? Of course I can….it’s my blog! ;-)

By the way Merv….love your B&W shot of the boulders!

Hey Sandy that is fantastic , it really is.

You sure have been around , great stuff , some ripper shots in there.

Hope to see the time lapse soon. I’ve played around with that over the years, I should try it again with the better gear I have these days.

Anyway sorry to wake you from 3 months sleep. :)

    Cheers

    Merv.

Hey Merv…cheers! I reckon you should give timelapse another go with the gear you have, there are so many resources available now to try different things…it’s mind blowing. The possibilities are endless :-)

Hey Sandy, great stuff!. thanks for stopping by my blog too. You should check out Brent Pearsons latest post on his blog for some cool time-lapse footage he found, plus if you are getting in to it you should check out the setup the guy used to get the footage, its very impressive and not to expensive from what i have read. I hope to give the time-lapse stuff ago one day too!

    Hi Matt,
Thanks for the tip…I have seen that post and have seen the volcano footage before…it is truly spectacular. Timescapes.org is a great resource too with some great tips and all sorts of footage. Also check out this stuff by Tom Lowe at http://vimeo.com/4038064. Inspirational! – although the choice of song may also have a lot to do with it…’tis one of my favourites :-)
